Benefits of Membership

• Member pricing ($20) for NLN workshops, with at least 8 workshops offered per year. Cost for non-members is $50. Topics range, covering various content of particular interest to younger professionals in the sector as they develop their careers.
• Membership in NLN LinkedIn Group, where members are able to access each other as contacts and post relevant information such as news articles, questions for peers, job postings, event announcements, etc.
• Free Members-Only Event once per year.
• Ability to contribute information to the quarterly newsletter, which will highlight information from the LinkedIn group, but reach a wider, non member audience.
• Ability to play a volunteer leadership role for strategic oversight of the NLN, planning for educational workshops, recruiting members or marketing NLN activities.
• Ability to include your NLN member status and logo on your resume and/or business cards.
• Access to Volunteer Vancouver’s Resource Library, which offers resources on not-for-profit management and the voluntary sector. Members are able to check out resources for three weeks at a time.
• Inclusion in special offers, like “rush” space in Volunteer Vancouver workshops, tickets to cultural events and other opportunities.
